David Lacey, of Nova Scotia has been wintering locally for several years, spending his time here adding to his prolific body of work.
David Lacey's acrylic on canvas paintings are available in various sizes and prices. Most of the pieces we carry were inspired by his time spent in our area, the panhandle of Florida, and reflect the beauty of our area through the eye and brush of an accomplished impressionist painter.
These are all original acrylic on canvas paintings, not prints. Most are framed (in the frames you see here) but some are stretched canvas that can be hung without a frame. All dimensions are for painting itself and do not include frame.

About David Lacey
Lacey has been a successful and much collected artist for some time in his native Canada and we at Artemis Gallery are proud to offer some of his work to our patrons, particularly his paintings of regional subject matter.
David works mainly with acrylics on canvas, painting in a style that has been termed "painterly impressionism" and he believes in strong composition combined with an understanding of the play of light within the work. Although he spent some time at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax as a young man, David is largely self taught and feels this has allowed his style to become readily identifiable in its own right.
